This helmet was the first helmet commission I ever took on.

After spending time learning techniques of automotive paint application from my friend Julian at Revival Automotive, I decided to apply them to this commission I had been approached about. I utilized the techniques I learned of priming, taping, base coat application, two-part clear application and pinstriping to achieve the vision for this piece. Although the process brought many challenges, I feel it was a very successful and confidence inspiring project.

The inspirations were drawn from both 70s psychedelic rock posters and medieval illustrations.
