365 days of art
On April 3rd 2020, I made the commitment to create and post art for the following 365 days.
This challenge was inspired by @iamjesiah on twitter and came from a place of feeling defeated by an episode of depression, having not created anything for a couple months. I completed this challenge and was successful at staying true to my word of completing and posting a finished digital piece each day, never skipping a day or finishing a piece in advanced. The first half of the challenge was done on my laptop through Adobe Illustrator without a stylus, using just my macbook’s mouse pad. The second half was done on my iPad pro with procreate. The difference in pieces is stark as the iPad allowed me to capture texture and color in a far more dimensional way.
